That slow journey that empowers us each day more and more to be ready for the encounter of our life where we will see God &#8220;face to face&#8221; and in Him, definitively, we will recognise ourselves in truth.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It is ours who lay lifeless in the tomb, who rose on the third day, who ascended above all heights to the right hand of the majesty of the Father&#8221; (Leo the Great, Sermon 15 on the Passion of the Lord).<\/p>\n<p>The Gradual of the Easter Day Mass is taken from Psalm 117 (Ps 117, 24. 1) with the following text:<br \/>\n<em>&#8220;H\u00e6c dies, quam fecit D\u00f3minus:<br \/>\n<\/em><em>exsult\u00e9mus et l\u00e6t\u00e9mur in ea.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Vs. Confit\u00e9mini D\u00f3mino, qu\u00f3niam bonus:<br \/>\n<\/em><em>qu\u00f3niam in sa\u00e9culum miseric\u00f3rdia ejus.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>(This is the day the Lord has made:<br \/>\nlet us exult and rejoice in it.<\/p>\n<p>Praise the Lord because he is good,<br \/>\nfor his mercy is everlasting).<\/p>\n<p>The attached music, in Gregorian Chant, is taken from the Graduale Triplex published in Solesmes in 1979.
